Woodworking Classes offer both the beginning and
intermediate woodworker an introduction into the world of custom woodworking.
Students who have taken a class feel very good about themselves and come away
with a sense of accomplishment and a completed project. The emphasis of these classes is on
woodworking techniques, not on the use of power tools. All materials and tools are
included. The wood is milled and
precut for a specific project.
Students follow woodshop demonstrations by Ambrose Pollock, follow
hard copy written instructions and learn to execute fine woodworking
techniques that they can then duplicate on their own. Ambrose follows each student very
closely and helps them to the degree they require help. The classes are held
in Ambrose’s’ state-of-the-art 2,500 square foot woodworking shop in Carmel,
California and each student has their own workstation. PREREQUISITES: attention to detail and the ability
to stand for 8 hours. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring lunch and shop
apron for yourself. Beverages
and snacks are provided. REGISTRATION:
