This log was shipped from Hawaii to our workshop in Carmel California. This is a rare old growth Koa tree and as such, we feel it is important to use this wood in a special way. It has been milled into 4 inch slabs, and will be used in several pieces that will hopefully enhance it's natural form. The Chairs shown sitting on the solid log of Koa are Hickory and Koa Spindle Chairs. This was shipped from Hawaii after it had fallen from natural causes.
